Many consumer’s rely heavily on Motor Trend’s Car of the Year choice when choosing a new vehicle. If a car can pass the stringent testing done by Motor Trend, then it’s going to provide years of use for the driver!

The variety of cars chosen for the 2008 award, ranges any where from the mid-sized and mid-priced to high priced and luxurious! Each vehicle goes through tests to meet a long line of standards such as fuel consumption, performance, engineering, functionality and safety!

Of the eighteen vehicles that are in the running for this years honor, Ford had two models that made the list, the Taurus and Focus. Others include the Chevy Malibu, Dodge Grand Caravan and Avenger, the Honda Accord and the Mercedes Benz C-Class.
